What products do you supply

Badges, Rosettes, Sashes and Printed Ribbon

We manufacture the badges, rosettes and  sashes in-house and to order, so if at all possible we will always try to fit a rush order into our production schedule, to satisfy any urgent requirements.

 

 

BADGES

What are the sizes of the badges and how are the badges fastened

Diameters of the circular badges are 45mm, 57mm and 77mm. We also have rectangular badges which are 60 x 40mm and heart shaped badges that are approx. 45mm at the widest part

The badges are fastened with a safety pin.

If the badge is for a small child then we will use a pinless safety clip instead of a safety pin.Can I

 

Can I mix the sizes of the badges

Of course. In fact one of the ways that we suggest for setting the hen, stag or birthday boy or girl apart from the rest is to have a larger size of badge for them

 

Can I design my badge on line ?

You can select your design, add the text and see the effect of changing the rosette colours. Unfortunately at this time we do not have the facility for you to design your own – but we can email an example of any badge design and colour combination that you require

 

 

ROSETTES

What types of rosette do you make and what are the rosette sizes

We make rosettes with 1,2,3 or 4 layers of ribbon

Rosette with 1 Layer ribbon:  Approx diameter of the rosette is 90mm - with 2 tails

Rosette with 2 Layers ribbon:  Approx diameter of the rosette is 110mm - with 2 tails

Rosette with 3 Layers ribbon:  Approx diameter of the rosette is 130mm with 3 tails

Rosette with 4 Layers ribbon:  Approx diameter of the rosette is 150mm - with 3 tails

 

How are the rosettes attached or fastened to clothing

The rosettes are fastened by a safety pin

If the rosette is for a small child then we will use a pinless safety clip instead of a safety pin.

Bridle pins are available on request

 

 

Can we have any colour ribbon on our rosettes ?

You can choose any combination of our standard colours for your rosette layers – including the tails

Rosette Ribbon Colours include Baby Blue, Blue, Black, Brown, Burgundy, Fuchsia, Champagne Gold, Green, Lilac, Lime, Navy, Orange, Pink, Purple, Sage, Red,  Silver Grey. White, Yellow, Tartan, Pink or Blue Candy Stripe and Rainbow. Other colours are also regularly available

 

Can I have my own design on a badge or rosette centre

If you have your own design then we can include this on the centre. But please ensure that there is nothing in the design that is copyrighted unless you are the creator or have the required permissions

 

ROSETTE TAILS

We can vary the length of the tails on rosettes to suit your requirements.

We can also put more or less tails on the rosettes than our standard.

We can also supply the rosettes without tails,

 

 

SASHES

What size are the sashes

The sashes are 1.8M (6 feet long and are 100mm (approx 4 inches) wide

Can I order sashes that are not your-standard length

Yes. If these are for children or taller adults or being worn over outdoor clothing - just tell us the length you require. Our standard sashes are 1.8M (6 feet) and are fastened at the hip. Just mention any special requirement in the notes section when you order

How are the sashes fastened

We supply the sashes as a length of printed ribbon together with self adhesive 'hook and loop' strips so that you can optimise the fit of the sash and then apply the fasteners. the sash is then ready to be worn.

Can I have more than one line of print on my sash

Yes - but please bear in mind that the sash is 4 inches (100mm) wide. We can normally fit 2 lines of text on a sash whcih is then reasonably visible at a distance. In theory you could have more lines, but they would be difficult o read at a distance.

Why do you not offer all text colours on every ribbon colour

Our popular colours for text are black, metallic silver and metallic gold. The black looks best on the lighter ribbon colours and the metallic colours look good on all colours, but especially so on the darker ribbon.
Our other colours such as white, pink, green, orange don't always print as good as we expect on certain colours because the intensity of the ribbon colour can interfere with the text colour and impart a colour tinge to the text e.g. the white text on black has a slight grey tinge whereas white on pink is fine. The options that we show are the ones that we recommend.

 

Can I have a special font

We show a list of the popular fonts on the order page, which comprises a combination of sans serif, serif and script. If you have a particular font then we can use it provided we have a license or it is available for commercial use. If it is only available for personal use then we cannot use it.

 

Is there a limit to the text we can add to a sash, rosette centre or badge ?

No , and we do not charge by the letter- but there is limited space. The more text – the smaller it will be

 

Can you add a logo to our sash order ?

Provided you have the authority to use the logo , then just send it with your order – but note we can only print sashes in single colours, so any logo would be in one colour – which would be the same as any text on the sash

 

PHOTOS

What format do you require for a photo

The preferred format for images is either jpg or png.

Try to send as an attachment rather then embed ded in an email, or doc or pdf file.

 

I can’t see the design I want

If you cannot see the design you want then just fill in our enquiry form and we will send you a quotation. This will not significantly slow down your order as we aim to respond within 12 hours and quote. If you agree and send payment then our normal delivery times will apply.

 

Do we need to edit any photograph ?

No. We will clean up any image suitable for the use on a badge, but if you send a photo with more than one person on it you need to tell us which person to use.

 

I see the type of design I like – but I want to change it – is that possible?

Of course. If it is just the wording or a simple colour change then you can probably just order on line and then put your comments in the ‘comments’ box.  If it is more involved then it would be better to either phone us or email us and talk us through it. In general though, it won’t be a problem.

 

Can I use my own design?

Yes, Just email it to us or upload it on the order page. If there is a colour or graded background then please add 5mm bleed all around the image.

DO NOT put a circle around the artwork to show a representation of a badge UNLESS you want us to print it. Any uploaded design will treated as artwork ready for print.  If you want to show us a representation then that is OK provided you send us both the artwork for us and the visual representation of how you would like it to appear.

 

Can you add a photograph to our sash order ?
We cannot add a photograph but we can convert it to a basic line drawing, which can be added to a sash

POSTAGE

Do you offer a Next Day or Urgent Delivery option

Next day delivery is only an option for the UK (excluding remote locations as per Royal Mail website). We need time to produce an order but aim to despatch within 24 hrs, and try to post small orders the same day if received by 12 noon.
We despatch Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 1:00pm on Friday might not be posted until Monday – particularly if they are for large quantities.
Our Standard UK postage is Royal Mail 24. This is not guaranteed for next day delivery.
If the order is urgent, contact us or select the next day dropdown option before 12 noon. We will then prioritise your order, but cannot guarantee to post the order the same day we get it if it is a large or complex order unless we have been contacted in advance either by email or phone.

 

How long will my order take ?

We aim to send out orders on the same day that they are received, provided they are placed before our cut-off time, which is approximately 1pm.  We normally send our orders for UK addresses by First Class post – but for a guaranteed next delivery you must select the Guaranteed service offered at check out. If you are on the last minute or need an urgent order then please contact us first so we can prioritise your order in our production schedule. Next Day delivery refers to a guaranteed next day delivery (Mon-Sat) after dispatch and not to a guaranteed next day after ordering (without prior arrangement and confirmation with us)

 

I am not in the UK. Can you ship to me?

If you are in Europe (but not in Germany) then we can ship to you but you would need to order via our sister shop which is registered for IOSS, which will enable us to comply with the relevant European Law.  If you are in Canada, Australia or  New Zealand then we also need to ship via our sister site where the relevant local sales tax can be paid and remitted to the local authorities and avoid you having to pay it locally and also prevent delays in customs.

Currently with the USA we are not accepting small orders as the recent changes made on tariffs has removed the duty free allowance, where imports under $800 did not attract any duty. Now, with the recent changes all imports are subject to duty so these have to be paid before you receive any orders. The level is 10% on the landed value, and most likely the customs broker will also charge an administration fee., which means a small order + freight + State tax + duty + admin fee makes a small order expensive.  If you are in the USA and want to go ahead, knowing that there will be extra costs then please email us.

Do you have a same day delivery option

We cannot offer a same day delivery, but if you are close to Manchester, then you could collect the order, by arrangement.

 

Can you deliver early in the morning tomorrow

Royal Mail Special Delivery guarantees a Next Day (Mon-Sat) delivery attempt by 1pm. There is also the option for a pre 9am delivery but this is more expensive and not one we regularly offer. Please contact us if you really want this expensive option

We have produced thousands of badges, sashes and rosettes since we first began supplying customised party products nearly 25 years ago.

We are a small dedicated team processing the orders and providing customer service with a wealth of experience. So give us a call if you have any questions or need some advice before you order. We are not only  available during the week but also weekends

The current price for our badges are

45mm  £0.75 each

57mm  £0.80 each

75mm  £0.99 each

 

The current price for our sashes are

One side print (front only) £2.75 - £2.85

Print two-side (front and back) £3.05 – £3.15

 

The current price for our rosettes with plain ribbon are

1 tier - £2.40 each. The 1 tier rosette has 2 tails

2 tier- £2.90 each. The 2 tier rosette has 2 tails

3 tier- £3.65 each. The 3 tier rosette has 3 tails

4 tier- £5.35 each. The 4 tier rosette has 4 tails

There is a small extra charge if you require striped or tartan ribbon or rainbow ribbon.

The extra for print on one of the tails is £0.25  per tail

 

The current price for our rosettes with plain ribbon and additional print on the tail are

1 tier - £2.65 each. The 1 tier rosette has 2 tails

2 tier- £3.15 each. The 2 tier rosette has 2 tails

3 tier- £3.90 each. The 3 tier rosette has 3 tails

4 tier- £5.60 each. The 4 tier rosette has 3 tails
